The old air conditioning units, having reached the end of their service life, suffered from high power consumption and poor operating efficiency. To implement energy conservation and carbon reduction while optimizing the campus learning and working environment, a total of 19 expired units were replaced. These newly selected inverter air conditioners are certified with the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Energy Saving Label, which is expected to lower overall campus electricity consumption and achieve carbon reduction benefits. Furthermore, the new units operate more quietly and provide precise temperature control, fostering a more comfortable and focused classroom and workspace for faculty and students.
This replacement project marks a crucial step toward green sustainability on campus. Moving forward, the Office of General Affairs will continue to inspect and improve electrical facilities across the campus, pushing for energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures to jointly build a low-carbon and eco-friendly green campus environment.
